I have worked in psychiatry and psychotherapy services for over 30 years in the NHS, the Priory and my private practice.
You will experience a safe environment where you are encouraged to identify and connect with yourself and the world around you. Caring and patient, I am empathetic towards others and can see issues from your perspective. I will help you develop coping skills for the here and now but help you focus your life going forward, so you can build for the future.
I work across a range of therapies including: Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness, Hypnotherapy and Hypno-analysis, Classical Psychotherapy, Sports Psychology, EMDR, Positive Psychology and Nutritional Therapy. I specialise in working with survivors of abuse, depression, trauma (including rape and date-rape) eating disorders (including anorexia) self-injury (deliberate self-harm) and dissociation.
I also help people suffering from chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome, in addition to more general anxiety, phobias and self esteem issues.
