I have worked in psychiatry and psychotherapy services for over 34 years in the NHS and in the private sector, in addition to my therapy practice.
Throughout this time I have worked in various specialities, being taught and mentored by world-leading experts. Subsequently I specialise in depression, survivors of abuse, trauma, (including rape / date-rape) eating disorders, self-injury and addictions.
Additionally, I help people suffering from chronic pain conditions such as fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue.
I have worked extensively with people experiencing general anxiety, stress, phobias and self esteem issues.
Trained and experienced to work with children, adolescents, adults and couples who have all benefited from treatment.
I work across a range of therapies depending on your needs including: cognitive therapy; mindfulness; hypnotherapy and hypno-analysis; classical psychotherapy; sports psychology; EMDR; positive psychology and nutritional therapy.
